Factors affecting rehabilitation outcomes of community mental health services

Abstract
Objective: A variety of community mental health service factors by analyzing the effect of rehabilitation and community mental health services, and provide suggestions for improving the future direction of mental health facilities were suggested.

Methods: By the Mental Health Act currently installed in the B city, which is operated in 7 mental health centers and 10 rehabilitation facilities, and 3 day hospital use as a mental disorder to understand the purpose of this study was able to meet self-administered questionnaire cognitive ability in 301 patients with mental disorder held in March 2010 from 15 over the two weeks using a self-administered structured questionnaire survey data were collected face to face. Data were analyzed with SPSS PC 12.0 program using descriptive statistics, t-test, variance analysis and multiple regression.

Results: : Mental rehabilitation outcomes of persons with disabilities affecting in those male, christian religions and living with family had a significant influence, and affected service factor that service environment, facilities environment and social interactions.

Conclusions: The rehabilitation outcomes of the mentally disabled to improve performance the role of community mental health facility for the formulation of mental health service delivery system requires the establishment and empowerment of mental health professionals and related institutional support and supportive interaction in the formation is required. And, the policy relating to the rehabilitation of the mentally disabled funding for family and spiritual support program development are needed.
